I was interested in Art in my teens and having been offered a place on a foundation course at the Winchester School of Art I changed direction at the last minute and went on to study a Business degree. Some 30 years later I started painting, self taught and inspired by a book I read about the Daily Painting movement.

I committed to producing 100 Paintings in 2019, and for a reason I still can’t explain, instead of picking up a brush for that first Painting,  I picked up a Palette Knife, and still today can’t put the Palette Knife down.

I get much of my inspiration from the Built Environment, and work with both Acrylics and Oil.
